The his­to­ry of the Stuttgart Werk­bund Estate at Weißen­hof is inter­na­tion­al­ly regard­ed as the zenith of mod­ernism. This series of books sheds light on new and for­got­ten aspects of the tur­bu­lent peri­od around 1927 and its less­er-known pro­tag­o­nists. Fol­low­ing the four volumes—100 Years in Per­spec­tive, New Ways of Sit­ting and Design­ing, Cre­ators of Mod­ernism, Spa­tial Art and Visions—this vol­ume focus­es on top­ics such as the use of col­or, art, and new forms of liv­ing.
